She graduated from Notre Dame de Sion High School in 1984. She finished Restoration Department of Yildiz Technical University in 1987, and studied Architecture at Yildiz Technical University in 1994.

She worked at the Çırağan Palace restoration project with Yildiz University Restoration group during 1988-1989. She took part in the renovation works of Louis Farakan Mosque in 1990 with a team consisting the National palaces restoration group members.

She worked at Atakoy Tourism Center with Hayati Tabanlıoğlu Project Team in 1990-1993, and at Mimarch Architects Office after graduation. She established the Ortac Architects company in 1996.

Ortac Architects mantains architecture, interior architecture, project design, implemantation and consulting services.
